The Civic Center CBD and partnering with the Asian Art Museum to employ a part-time Program Coordinator to assist with activation programs in Civic Center Plaza and the new Living Innovation Zome coming to the Asian Art Museum property on Fulton Street. This collaboration allows both organizations to pool limited resources and create a better combined position that will allow the coordinator to work with multiple cultural agencies, City departments and community groups.

Description

Two year, part-time position to begin immediately and run through summer 2018. Works closely with the Asian Art Museum (AAM) and Civic Center Community Benefit District (CCCBD) staff on the development and implementation of programs intended to activate two public spaces within the Civic Center Commons: the Art/Lit Commons and east end of the Civic Center Plaza. In addition to directly working with the Asian Art Museum and the CCCBD, this position collaborates with the LIZ Project Coordinator, Art Night SF and Public Works on the integration of the Art/Lit LIZ and Civic Center Plaza within the larger Civic Center Commons Initiative. Position works closely with and reports directly to Allison Wyckoff, Manager of Public Programs at the Asian Art Museum.
