The Civic Center Community Benefit District (CBD) is bringing holiday cheer to the neighborhood by presenting its inaugural musical event, “Holiday Lights and Fanfare,” starting December 6, 2013.

Spearheaded by the External Affairs Committee of the Civic Center CBD, “Holiday Lights and Fanfare” will be a series of performances meant to activate neighborhood streets and bring holiday cheer to the residents and the thousands of visitors and arts patrons that enjoy San Francisco’s home of history, culture and government.

Each performance will feature the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Brass Quintet at various locations and times on the weekends in December. Each performance is meant to highlight cultural assets in the neighborhood, from the historic War Memorial Opera House, to the new SFJazz Center.

All events are held in front of the named location and are free and open to the public.
