The CBD is Partnering with People In Plazas and the Recreation and Parks Department to Present Free Concerts This Summer
The Civic Center CBD will present FREE weekly concerts on Wednesdays, from noon to 1:00pm, to activate and Civic Center Plaza. They begin July 8 and will continue through the end of October.
We are working with People in Plazas, whose mission is to activate urban open spaces through events which generate social congregation. People in Plazas provides more than 500 paid “gigs” annually for local musicians. They support live music performance and embrace the diversity and wealth of the Bay Area music community.
We are also working with the City’s Recreation and Parks staff to produce the events and bring back Off the Grid Food Trucks on the Wednesdays.
