People in Plazas was an ongoing concert series that we brought to Civic Center Plaza and presented every Wednesday at noon in the Joseph L. Alioto Performing Arts Piazza (aka Civic Center Plaza). It was a partnership between the Civic Center CBD, People in Plazas and the Recreation and Parks Department.

In 2016, we expanded the concept and and produced some of the noon-time concerts as part of our other concert series, the Holiday Fanfare Concerts. These provided holiday cheer for people who worked in Civic Center and visited during the day.
